Non-Discrimination Statement
Marshall B. Ketchum University (MBKU) is committed to maintaining an environment where all individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. In compliance with applicable federal and California state laws, and in alignment with University policy, MBKU prohibits discrimination, harassment, and retaliation against any individual on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion or creed, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
This policy applies to all areas of University operations, including admissions, academic programs, employment, financial aid, and access to University services and activities. MBKU also strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination or harassment or who participates in an investigation related to such reports.
Sex-based discrimination, including sexual harassment and sexual violence, is prohibited under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and is addressed through MBKU’s Title IX Sexual Harassment and Non-Discrimination Policy.
